Ipswich Town manager Paul Jewell fears he may be priced out of a move for Celtic's Daryl Murphy.
The 29-year old striker spent time on loan with the Tractor Boys for a second spell last season and now Jewell is hoping to capture him permanently but is of the belief that he may cost too much.
"If Celtic want a fee, and with his wages, we simply can't afford it," Jewell told the East Anglian Daily Times.
"He did well for us in the back end of the season. We would be interested if the deal was right but I have got the feeling it is going to be expensive. It is a bit of a waiting game."
