Ipswich Town will take on Carling Cup favourites Arsenal in the semi-finals whilst Birmingham City and West Ham United clash in the other final four match.

Wednesday night's results saw the Tractor Boys and the Blues go through with wins over West Brom and Aston Villa respectively whilst the Gunners cruised past Wigan on Tuesday night as did the Hammers over title holders Manchester United.

Ipswich will host Arsenal in the first leg of their two-legged semi-final whilst West Ham will be at home to Birmingham.

The first legs will be played the week commencing the 10th January with the return matches a fortnight later.
