Ipswich Town are eyeing Burnley winger Michael Kightly.

The Lancashire Evening Telegraph says sources in Anglia state Kightly was on a coaching course with Ipswich skipper Luke Chambers this summer and indicated he would love to link up with Mick McCarthy again.

But with a year remaining on his contract the Clarets would almost certainly a demand fee if Sean Dyche was to allow the former Stoke City winger to move on.

Kightly arrived at Turf Moor on loan for the 2013/14 season when Burnley were promoted to the top flight, and he then made that move permanent before the Premier League campaign got underway.
