Ipswich boss Paul Jewell refused to get carried away after an impressive 3-0 opening-day victory at Bristol City. Jewell was impressed with what he saw, though urged caution.
"It was a good start but we don't want to get carried away as there is a long arduous season ahead of us," Jewell told the club's official website.
"I thought we started well and we were on top for the first 20 minutes. Then we scored the goal, it has been a trait of ours that we've gone on the back foot after scoring and they came back into the game but once we got the second and third goals the game was over.
"It was good to keep a clean sheet and I'm pleased with the effort of everyone since we've come back but we know we've got a long way to go yet."
