Ipswich boss McCarthy sets FAI deadline

Ipswich Town boss Mick McCarthy has set the FAI a deadline to make contact about the Republic of Ireland job.

The Daily Star Sunday says McCarthy is tiring of the speculation after being made joint-favourite for the job along with Martin O'Neill.

But the FAI has yet to make contact and if they keep dithering McCarthy will use Friday's press conference at Portman Road to distance himself.
