Ipswich boss McCarthy: It will be hard to sign West Ham's Henderson, Wolves' Stearman

Ipswich Town manager Mick McCarthy has indicated that he is not going after any players who have ties with other clubs.

West Ham United goalkeeper Stephen Henderson and Wolves defender Richard Stearman, both of whom spent time on loan at Portman Road last season, are reported targets for McCarthy but he was quick to rubbish those rumours.

"They're both under contract at their clubs and that kind of makes life difficult because I'm signing Bosmans," said the former Wolves boss.

"We'll wait and see. I'll keep looking and, whether it's those two or somebody else, we'll find out."
