Ipswich boss Keane targets Sunderland pair

Ipswich boss Roy Keane is targeting two of his former Sunderland players.

The Daily Star Sunday says both Black Cats skipper Dean Whitehead and Irish striker David Healy - who Keane paid Fulham £2m for last summer - are believed to be at the top of his shopping list.

He's hoping to get them both for a combined fee of around £3m regardless of whether Sunderland stay up or not.

But he faces fierce competition for Whitehead from his old adversary Mick McCarthy who is keen to take the midfielder he signed from Oxford when HE was in charge at Sunderland to his newly promoted Wolves side.
