Ipswich Town boss Paul Jewell was pleased with Kieron Dyer's performance in their draw with Leeds United.
The on-loan West Ham United midfielder signed for Ipswich on Friday.
Jewell said: "He will be all the better for the game.
"It wasn't his type of match really but he showed flashes of the quality that we know he's got."
