Pippo Inzaghi has signed a new one-year deal with AC Milan.

The 36-year-old striker only started four games in Serie A last season, but he has inked a 12-month contract extension in the last 24 hours.

An official statement confirming that agreement was released earlier yesterday.

"AC Milan would like to communicate that the footballer Filippo Inzaghi has extended his contract until June 30, 2011."
