Pippo Inzaghi remains confident of his AC Milan post.

Inzaghi is expected to be dumped at season's end.

But the coach says: "I don't need reassurances, I just carry on with my work. I want to repay the fans for their affection with a good performance from my team.

"At the end of the season then the club will make their decisions.

"The difference will be the options which we have on the bench. Unfortunately our results have gone hand-in-hand with our many injuries.

"That shouldn't be an excuse, we still have to do better, and it's clear that with some players back we can do better."
