AC Milan boss Pippo Inzaghi insists his team does not need wholesale changes after their 3-1 defeat at Lazio.
Marco Parolo struck twice in a game which will be long remembered for Philippe Mexes' amazing meltdown.
"It was a bad performance, but the lads gave their all and certainly didn't hold back. The game had started on the right track when we took the lead, but struggled under pressure from Lazio," Inzaghi told Sky Sport Italia.
"At these moments we just have to keep working and look ahead to the next game, knowing we'll play Lazio again on Tuesday in the Coppa Italia.
"I believe this team can get back to playing better, the way we did up until a month ago. For three or four games we haven't done well, but we have to try and get these players giving their best.
"It's easy to say now we should change everything. We should change some things, so we'll analyse the game, watch it back over and see what needs tweaking.
"A few weeks ago we were challenging on a par with Roma and Napoli, so I cannot think that this is the real Milan.
"I think one problem is that we have many players coming back from long-term injuries, so they lack consistency, but we shouldn't look for alibis."
