Inzaghi happy Allegri to be named AC Milan coach

AC Milan striker Pippo Inzaghi has welcomed news that Massimiliano Allegri could become new coach.

Former Cagliari coach Allegri could be named new Rossoneri boss as early as today.

"I have always said that playing against Allegri's sides is difficult, because they are very organised and the players know exactly what they have to do on the pitch," explained Inzaghi.

"Let us wait and see what happens."

SuperPippo has extended his contract with the club for another year and has his heart set on new adventures.

"My main objective is to be in good shape. Beating the record for European goals is also important after everything I've done and I am happy with the renewal.

"Our compliments go to Inter for their deserved Champions League victory, but now we hope that Milan can get back to winning ways too."
