Pippo Inzaghi is eager to open new contract talks with AC Milan.
He is one of the veterans whose contract expires at the end of the season, so it could well be his final game for the club.
"I hope to remain for another year, as it would be a shame to split up now after forming such a wonderful emotional bond.
"I have a very good chance of staying, as it is not an economic problem, because Milan have given me so much.
"If we have the usual connection and mutual respect, then I will continue playing with this jersey."
