Inzaghi demands AC Milan playing chance

AC Milan veteran Pippo Inzaghi insists he deserves to be playing.

He was left off the Champions League list, a decision that infuriated him, and is not shy about expressing his frustration to Coach Massimiliano Allegri.

"My objective is to get back to being the player I was," he told So Foot magazine after several months out with knee ligament damage.

"I deserve to play and the fans deserve it too. Besides, I don't know how to live without football, as I'm like a kid who always wants to play and learn even more.

"Without doubt the striker who resembles me the most is Alberto Gilardino, but also Alberto Paloschi.

"The toughest defenders I've faced are certainly Alessandro Nesta, Paolo Maldini, Ivan Cordoba, Ciro Ferrara and Walter Samuel."
