Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi was delighted with their 3-0 win over Udinese.
The victory came courtesy of Ciro Immobile's brace and Keita Balde Diao.
“It was a good Lazio performance, we played well, had fun, deserved the victory and I found it particularly satisfying considering we were missing so many players," he told Sky Sport Italia.
“It makes me proud to see those like Patric and Wesley Hoedt who hadn't featured for a while and did so well. It means they've been training hard and were ready when called upon, so I am very proud of them.
“We had eight players born after 1993 and I have no problems using youth. Someone like Cristiano Lombardi is earning his place, I do not give gifts to anyone in the squad."
