AC Milan veteran Pippo Inzaghi is confident club patron Silvio Berlusconi will move to keep them competitive next season.
Inzaghi has agreed to play on next term with the Rossoneri.
He said: "Milan will get back to doing what they've always done.
"The fans are used to us doing well. It's normal to suffer a little but we are in good hands with Berlusconi and Galliani. We'll get back to being competitive because this is a strong and true group of players."
Inzaghi was then asked for his reaction to speculation that Massimiliano Allegri is due to take over from Leonardo at Milanello.
"Playing against his teams has always been difficult and all the players who have played under Allegri speak well of him.
"He reminds me of Ancelotti in his way of doing things."
