Aussie striker Danny Invincibile has signed a new contract with Kilmarnock through to 2011. Invincibile said: "My deal was up at the end of the season and after weighing up my options over the past few months, I decided I'm better where I am.
"I've been happy at Kilmarnock for six years and have a good relationship with the gaffer, so why leave?"
Invincibile hopes to celebrate by knocking arch-rivals Ayr out of the Homecoming Scottish Cup on Thursday night, saying: "I also believe we have the strongest squad since I joined and that we have a real chance of finishing in the top four and going far in the Scottish Cup if we get past Ayr."
The Australian added: "At the back of my head, I do have plans to go back home at some stage but who knows?
"Football is a funny game and one day this contract may run out and I'll start thinking about a testimonial. Financially and from the prestige point of view, staying with one club for 10 years is a great idea.
"But who knows? The club might not even want me by then or I might not want to stay."
