The Romanian international's future at Caley has been the subject of intense speculation all summer with the SPL side rejecting a number of bids for the 27-year-old.
"Several clubs were interested but I told Scottish bosses that I only wanted to play for Dinamo," Niculae told the Romanian press.
Niculae played for Dinamo from 1996 to 2001 before joining Sporting Lisbon.
