Inverness boss Terry Butcher has signed Stuart Duff until the end of the season. Free agent Duff, who spent a month on loan at Inverness late last year, played for the club's reserve team on Monday night before completing his move on Tuesday.
The former Dundee United and Aberdeen midfielder recently turned down an offer from St Mirren in favour of Inverness and Butcher believes his previous spell will enable the 28-year-old to adapt quickly to life at the club.
Butcher said on the club's official website: "I'm very pleased to add Stuart to our squad.
"He brings extensive SPL experience and adds the competition I've been looking for in midfield.
"As a result of his previous loan spell here he knows the players and knows what this club is all about, so there's no long settling-in time required, which is an advantage."
