Inverness Caledonian Thistle midfielder Andrew Shinnie is planning to emulate what former Caley man Don Cowie has in England.
23-year old Shinnie will join Championship club Birmingham City in the summer and dreams of following in the footsteps of Cowie who gained promotion to the Premier League with Cardiff City this season.
"Don has definitely shown what can be done. He is a really good player," he said of Cowie who departed Inverness for Watford in 2009 before finding his way to Cardiff in 2011.
"You try to impress and if you work and you have the talent, that should be enough.
"Don has now won promotion to the Premiership which is an absolutely unbelievable achievement for him.
"It just shows what you can do."
