Intralot Australia was today announced as the new major sponsor of the Melbourne Victory. The lottery and gaming company has signed a two-year partnership with last season's A-League champions after electronics giant Samsung withdrew their sponsorship.

Intralot Australia is a part of Intralot SA, which operates in over 50 countries worldwide.

There are strong football links within Intralot as he chairman of the company, Socratis Kokkalis is the owner and chairman of Greek Super League club Olympiacos.

"We're pleased to welcome Intralot Australia into our organization and see many exciting collaborative opportunities," said Victory chairman Geoff Lord.

"They are an emerging company in Victoria and we look forward to helping them grow their brand.

"In fact, the focus that both of our companies have on Melbourne and Victoria, helps make this parternship a perfect fit.
