Libor Kozak's opening goal against Italy was not enough for the Czech Republic to overcome a strong Italian side in Turin on Tuesday.

The new Aston Villa striker silenced the crowd after 18 minutes with an acrobatic effort that left Gianluigi Buffon helpless.

However, Italy responded quickly after the interval with two goals in quick succession from Giorgio Chiellini and Mario Balotelli leaving the Czechs three points behind third-placed Denmark in Group A.
