Internacional de Porto Alegre vice-president Giovanni Luigi insists no agreement has been struck with Chelsea over teenage sensation Alexandre Pato.

It was reported over the weekend that Chelsea had agreed an £18 million deal with Inter for the 17 year-old striker, but Luigi said last night: "I can guarantee that nothing has been agreed.

"If something had been agreed, I would have been the first person the president [Vitorio Piffero] would have told."

Along with Chelsea, Pato is a big-money target for Italian giants Inter and AC Milan.
