Internacional striker Leandro Damiao has thanked Napoli legend Careca for his kind words.

Careca has recommended Damiao to Napoli.

"I thank Careca, he was a great player and is an idol in Naples ," said Damiao.

"But as I said, I'm with Internacional and will give my best to help my team."
