Though his team were defeated by Germany in Wednesday's semi-final, they once again made a mockery of the odds.
Fatih Terim's patched up side outplayed the tournament favourites for large spells. Kazim-Richards played a part and could have given his team an early lead but his shot struck the bar.
"That's exactly what I wanted," he said. "Obviously that's what it was going to bring anyway, playing in the tournament, but I think I had quite a good few games and it has done me no harm."
Kazim-Richards's exploits have seen the player linked with a return to The Premier League, with newly-promoted Hull registering the keenest interest according to reports, and the 21-year-old has not ruled out a return to England.
"I am a Fenerbahce player but interest is interest and you can't stop interest. If the interest is worth thinking about obviously we'll think about it."
