Interest is beginning to dry up in Everton contract rebel Steven Pienaar.
The Daily Star says the 28-year-old South African is not enjoying the best of seasons and has refused to sign a £55,000-a-week contract extension.
Pienaar has scored only once this season and struggled to find the form that saw him named player of the year last term.
With his current deal set to expire next summer, the Merseysiders may be forced to cash in now, with Tottenham one potential destination.
Aston Villa and Liverpool have both shown interest in the past, but are not understood to be in the running now.
