Inter starlet Davide Santon has revealed he almost joined AC Milan as a junior.

"Let's just say I believe in destiny and the fact all of us may have been born to achieve something specific," he told the Gazzetta dello Sport.

"I was playing in the Ravenna youth academy and aged 10 had a trial with Inter. When I was 14, they wrote back and said they wanted me.

"Just two days later the same letter arrived from Milan. At the time I was a bit of a Rossoneri supporter, but I had already chosen Inter. The heart can change its mind and considering how happy I've been here, I would never think of going elsewhere."
