Inter Milan captain Javier Zanetti has revealed he's rejected offers from both Barcelona and Real Madrid during his time at the San Siro.

The Argentina international midfielder, 34, told Guerin Sportivo: "I have had chances to leave. Real Madrid and Barcelona took a close look at me, but I said 'no' because I wanted to continue living in Milan."

Zanetti also commented on Italy's Calciopoli scandal: "Inter were never involved. We were, however, victims."
