Inter Milan midfielder Luis Figo has suffered a broken metatarsal injury.

"The tests showed a small fractured at the base of the third metatarsal in his right foot," read an official Inter statement.

"Considering the fracture is not too serious, there are no operations planned by the Nerazzurri medical staff."

It certainly rules Figo out of Sunday's Milan derby and the upcoming Champions League clash with Werder Bremen.
