Inter Milan's Cordoba: Mourinho treating Balotelli right way

Inter Milan defender Ivan Cordoba has backed coach Jose Mourinho's approach to Mario Balotelli.

Mourinho publicly lambasted Balotelli after his performance in their 1-1 draw with Roma.

"Mourinho is to Balotelli like a father to his son, trying to put him in the right direction," said Cordoba. "He must understand that Mario has to play for the squad and not for himself.

"Mario has incredible qualities and Mourinho wants him to succeed."
