Adriano's impressive preseason at Inter Milan has stalled due to injury.

The Brazil striker reported a severe pain in his thigh at the end of training yesterday and has undergone a series of tests.

"Adriano won't be available for Friday's friendly in Lisbon against Benfica," a statement on Inter's website confirms.

"He is suffering from a muscular pain in his right thigh and he will follow a course of physiotherapy that starts this morning.

"Further tests are planned for the start of next week to ascertain the speed of recovery."
