Inter Milan intend to test Barcelona's resolve over Samuel Eto'o in the summer. The Cameroon ace is well inside the final 18 months of his current Barca contract and won't consider talks over a new deal until the end of the season.

Mediaset says with Adriano, Julio Cruz and Hernan Crespo all expected to be offloaded in the summer, Inter are ready to launch a bid to bring Eto'o to Italy.

High-profile Italian agent Vincenzo Morabito commented: "It is no secret that Inter has been following him for some time. His contract expires in 2010 and he could be a possible target."
