Inter Milan will challenge Man Utd for Guardiola

Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti is monitoring closely Pep Guardiola's contract situation at Barcelona. Guardiola refuses to be rushed into signing a new deal by Barca directors and could walk out on the club in June.

The Barca coach fielded questions about Manchester United earlier this week and now Gazzetta dello Sport says Moratti is ready to make a move.

The Inter president is prepared to hand Guardiola 'blank cheque' to bring him to the San Siro.

Those close to the Barca boss say he's likely to pen one more 12-month deal before leaving the Nou Camp in 2013.
