Inter Milan are monitoring Michael Essien's situation at Chelsea.
Corriere dello Sport says Essien is a big favourite of Inter president Massimo Moratti, who would love to bring the Ghana star to Italy this summer.
With Andre Villas-Boas set to be confirmed as new Chelsea manager, Moratti is waiting to see if the Portuguese plans to stick with Essien for the coming season.
If given any encouragement, Moratti will make a move for the midfielder.
Interestingly, former Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink, also a fan of Essien, is in the frame for the coaching job at Inter.
