Inter Milan are stepping up their pursuit of Corinthians midfielder Paulinho.

The Brazil international has been a long-term target for Inter GM Marco Branca and is expected to move to Europe in January.

Chelsea and Manchester City are also keen on the defensive midfielder, but Corriere dello Sport says Branca intends to use the money saved from the sale of Wesley Sneijder to fund a deal for Paulinho.
