Inter Milan are ready to splash the cash raised from Samuel Eto'o's sale to land Real Madrid ace Kaka. With Eto'o on his way to Anzhi in a €27 million deal - and Inter saving a further €72 million on wages - they have the spending power to bring former AC Milan star Kaka back to Italy.
Marca says Inter have maintained contact with Real about Kaka since June and now know his asking price has dropped to €30 million.
Inter's original offer in June - which was rejected by Real - was €30 million cash plus Douglas Maicon.
Now with Real desperate to sell, Inter are again at the negotiating table and in a position of strength.
