Inter Milan are being encouraged to push for Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola IMMEDIATELY. Guardiola is off contract in June and admitted over the weekend he still needed time to decide whether to commit for another 12-months.
La Stampa says Barca know Guardiola's thinking and his behaviour - and given the concerns coming from the Nou Camp, there is genuine fear he will seek a new adventure next season.
Inter president Massimo Moratti has long admired Guardiola and would love to bring him to the Nerazzurri to succeed Claudio Ranieri.
The stumbling block could be cash, however. Moratti has pulled back from transfer spending over the last 18 months and if he is to tempt the Spaniard, that policy will have to be ripped up.
