Inter Milan are keeping Chelsea waiting over the sale of Fredy Guarin.

The Daily Star says Jose Mourinho is on the verge of clinching a £14m deal for the 27-year-old, who is also wanted by Manchester United.

Inter wanted around £16m for the versatile Colombian and knocked back Chelsea's first offer of around £12m.

Once Inter's top target is in the bag they will give Guarin the green light to complete his move to Stamford Bridge.
