Inter Milan are convinced they will land Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas this summer.

Reports in Italy suggest Inter Milan are ready to launch a big-money move for Fabregas, with a £36million player-plus-cash deal including Italy Under-21 star Mario Balotelli.

Inter, managed by former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho and possible Champions League semi-final opponents for the Gunners, are said to be so confident of a summer transfer that they have added Spain international Fabregas to their insurance policy in case he gets injured before the start of next season.
