Mauro Zarate is eyeing a return to Lazio after a poor season on-loan with Inter Milan.

A return to Lazio is on the cards, although it's not clear whether the club want him back on a permanent basis.

"At this moment it is difficult to say what Mauro's future will be," said agent and brother Sergio Zarate on Radio Manà Manà.

"Mauro still loves Lazio and would be happy to stay in Rome. In case Inter do not take up their option, he'd he pleased to continue his career at Lazio."
