Inter Milan striker Rodrigo Palacio sees the derby against AC Milan today as a must-win.
Palacio is under no illusions to the game's importance.
"We hope to put in a great performance and to win, as winning a derby is the best feeling in the world," the striker told Inter Channel.
"It is a special game, the most important game of the year. All the fans are waiting anxiously for it to start and so are we. We'll give our all to win."
This will be the first match with Roberto Mancini in charge after Walter Mazzarri was sacked last week.
"We worked hard and fortunately had the break for international duty so we could get to know the Coach better. We are in good shape going into this game."
