Inter Milan striker Diego Milito has thanked fans for their support after he was snubbed for this year's Ballon d'Or.

Inter Milan striker Diego Milito has thanked fans for their support after he was snubbed for this year's Ballon d'Or.

Inter President Massimo Moratti claims Milito made his side win a historic treble and can't understand the snub.

“I would like to once again thank everyone who publicly and privately have made me feel their affection,” Milito told ANSA.

The 31-year-old is expected to release a more detailed statement on Inter's official website later today.
