Inter Milan stick to 2012 plans for Barcelona coach Guardiola

Inter Milan still have plans to make Pep Guardiola their coach in 2012.

Tuttosport says the reason Inter is finding it difficult to find a suitable replacement for Leonardo is that the job would only last for one season.

Leonardo was content with the idea of holding on to the bench for one more year until Barcelona hero Guardiola can take over.

The Coach has already announced he will leave the Nou Camp at the end of the 2011-12 campaign, having just lifted the Liga and Champions League trophies.

It has been rumoured for some months now that he is planning a move to Serie A, having given his word to Inter President Massimo Moratti.
