Inter Milan are closing in on Chelsea defender Ricardo Carvalho.

Inter coach Jose Mourinho confirmed yesterday that he wanted to bring his former Blues stopper to Italy this summer.

And it's emerged that Inter chief Marco Branca met with Jorge Mendes, who represents both Mourinho and Carvalho, last week.
