Inter Milan skipper Zanetti happy to silence critics

Inter Milan captain Javier Zanetti is happy to have silenced their critics.

The Nerazzurri are now fourth in the standings after their 2-1 win over Lazio last night – that was their seventh League victory in a row.

“Let’s remember that a month ago many were saying that we would have to fight just to avoid relegation,” he told Inter Channel.

“They said that we were an old team, but we’ve always looked forward without stopping and this is the result.”

He is right, much more will come from Messi. Players usually peak when they are 26-27 and Messi is only 24.
