Inter Milan have taken defender Andrea Ranocchia in co-ownership with Genoa.
The 22-year-old, who spent last season at Bari, will stay at Genoa for the 2010-11 campaign.
Inter's stake in Ranocchia will last five years. His contract has been registered with the Lega Calcio.
Ranocchia is widely regarded as one of the most gifted defenders of his generation.
