Feyenoord starlet Luc Castaignos is set to reject offers from Arsenal and Manchester United and sign with Inter Milan according to his agent.
The 18-year old striker has scored an abundance of goals at youth levels for Holland in the past few years and is now making an impression in the Dutch Eredivisie with six goals in 14 starts this term.
The Gunners and Red Devils are believed to be heavily interested in his services but agent Arie Treffers suggests a shift to Inter is imminent.
"At the moment Inter Milan is beating the competition of Arsenal and Manchester United for him," he told calciomercatoweb.
"I heard from Marco Branca (Inter's sporting director) who told me that there might be news in the first week of January and I think at that time he will formalise a proposal to Feyenoord.
"The player should be purchased immediately by Inter, but will stay in the Netherlands until June, when he will wear the Nerazzurri shirt.
"Things have been postponed because of the Club World Cup and then the story regarding Benitez, but we have very good sensations.
"I believe Luc can be the right man for the attack of the future.
"He is 18 years-old, but already thinks like a 23 year-old man, in my opinion has a stronger mentality than (Mario) Balotelli and training alongside great champions like (Diego) Milito and (Samuel) Eto'o will be good for him."
