Inter Milan set for Australia visit

Italian giants Inter Milan could be heading to Australia for a friendly later this year.

Reports suggest the Narazzurri may make their way down under on May 25 or 26, or June 1 or 2.

It is believed that A-League club Melbourne Heart are in the running for the match with CEO Scott Munn saying there had been contact.

"We have had contact with regards to Inter Milan but nothing has been set in concrete," Munn told The Advertiser.

However, the plans could be cancelled if Inter make it to the final of the Coppa Italia which is held on May 26. Managed by Andrea Stramaccioni, Inter Milan currently sit fifth on the Serie A table and features such players as Argentines Javier Zanetti, Diego Milito and Esteban Cambiasso, Italian striker Antonio Cassano and Japan's Yuto Nagatomo.
