Inter Milan see Chelsea striker Batshuayi as Icardi replacement

Inter Milan are reportedly showing significant interest in Chelsea's Michy Batshuayi.

Italian publication Corriere dello Sport is reporting that the Nerazzurri are ready to make a move for the Belgian who only joined Chelsea from Marseille in the summer.

The 23-year-old is yet to start in the Premier League under Antonio Conte and could be lured away with the promise of regular first-team football.

And that could come in the form of Inter who are planning to get rid of captain Mauro Icardi after he criticised Inter's supporters in his new autobiography.

The Serie A outfit look increasingly likely to offload 23-year-old forward Icardi but not before they sort a replacement.

£33million-signing Batshuayi has also been linked with a move back to Marseille after enduring a tough start to life at Stamford Bridge and is now on the radar of Frank De Boer's Inter.

The Sun, however, indicates that the former Standard Liege ace is determined to stay in West London and force his way into Conte's plans.
