Inter Milan midfielder Wesley Sneijder is staying calm over the prospect of winning the Ballon d'Or.
Sneijder is a prime candidate after winning the Champions League and reaching the World Cup final with Argentina.
He said: "Am I a candidate for the Ballon d'Or? I certainly don't live with the obsession of personal achievements. I only focus on what's good for Inter and winning as much as possible.
"My fitness is improving with every day and I am sure that on Saturday I'll be available for the Italian Super Cup against Roma."
